The Relational Rewind Method TM

KPS is launching the use of a new therapeutic technique. The Relational Rewind Method TM uses Video-Assisted Relational Reflection (VARR) TM techniques to provide real-time feedback, increase skill building, and provide practical communication improvements.

Increase Skill Building

Mastering relationship skills takes practice, not just talk. We can use video playback as an opportunity to practice actively replacing defensive habits with proven communication techniques, allowing you to build real-world confidence and emotional regulation in real time.

Decrease Bias

Memory recall after conflict is often skewed by stress, heightened feelings, and self-perception. Reviewing objective video footage removes the "she-said, she-said" dynamic, providing a neutral mirror that allows partners to see the interaction clearly when regulated, acknowledge each other's reality, and build shared understanding.

Real-Time Feedback

Stop arguing about where communication went wrong. By reviewing actual recorded interactions together, we can pause, rewind, and pinpoint triggers, tone shifts, and nonverbal cues as they happen, using this data to gain insight and agree on improvement steps.
